A teenage girl was taken to hospital after being hit by a Range Rover in Trafford.
The crash happened on Oakfield Road in Altrincham at around 3pm yesterday (Monday). Police and paramedics were called to the scene after the girl was struck down by the car.
She was rushed to hospital, where she remains with serious injuries. The driver of the Range Rover is assisting police with enquiries, a spokesperson for the force said.

Officers are now urging anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward. They want to speak to anyone who has dash-cam footage of the incident.
A Greater Manchester Police statement said: "At around 3pm on Monday 18 July 2022, we received a report of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Oakfield Road in the Altrincham area. The teenage girl was taken to hospital, where she remains with serious injuries.
"The driver of the Range Rover is assisting officers with their enquiries. Officers are particularly interested in hearing from anyone with mobile, dash or helmet cam footage from the surrounding roads in the minutes before the collision.
"Anyone with information should contact investigators via 0161 856 4741 quoting 1913 18/07/22. Information can also be shared anonymously via the independent charity – Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
