The owner of a 'timid and loving' therapy dog has been left heartbroken after his beloved pup was viciously mauled in an unprovoked attack last Friday (July 29). Chow Chow Nala was seen cowering against the railings in shocking footage of the attack, in which the perpetrating breed, thought to be an American XL Bully, charges at her outside the Affinity Living apartments.

Video footage shows a passer-by in a brave attempt to pull the viscous dog off and kick it during what he said was a 10-minute ordeal.
