Police descended on a street in Stoke as part of their search into a "targeted attack" which left a cyclist in critical condition.
Officers from Greater Manchester Police were spotted in Grice Road, Hartshill, yesterday morning, December 15.
The force were in the Stoke-on-Trent area with Staffordshire Police to search a house, with three police cars and two vans spotted in the area.

Officers have now confirmed the operation was part of their investigation into an attempted murder in Rochdale on Friday, December 10, where a cyclist was mowed down in a "targeted attack".
