Man seriously hurt after gang storms house and stabs him

Police were called to Thurstane Street, in Bolton, shortly before 8.30pm on Sunday (December 19).
Officers believe four men arrived at the address in the Halliwell area and forced their way in as part of a targeted attack.
A man in his late 40s was taken to hospital with serious injuries, which police say are not thought to be life-threatening.

No arrests have been made.
A cordon was in place outside a house on the street on Monday morning.
