A 74-year-old man ran down a cyclist in a ‘moment of madness’ after the victim spat on his car during a road rage row.
Alan Moult had been driving his luxury Land Rover Freelander and was in the right hand lane intending to turn right onto Kennerley Road in Stockport when a cyclist collided with his car.
The cyclist then put his hand on the bonnet before continuing forward.

However, in a furious rage, Moult shouted at him “you f****** t**t” before swapping lanes and driving after the man.
