New social housing apartments are being built on the site of a former pub in Trafford.
Housing association Salix Homes is working with Salford-based developer Bowsall Developments and contractor Whitfield and Brown to build a new apartment block on Manchester Road in Partington.
The apartment block will be situated on the site of the former Greyhound pub, which called last orders in 1995 and has remained vacant ever since.

The pub building was later demolished.
The new three-storey development will consist of 24 two-bedroom apartments - all available for social housing rent.
