Viewers are used to seeing him wind up his step-dad David Platt in Coronation Street but the actor behind Max Turner couldn't be more different to his on-screen character.
Actor Paddy Bever took over the role of the troublesome character, who is the son of David's late wife Kylie Platt and the late Callum Logan, back in September.
11-year-old Harry McDermott., from Bury, played Max in the soap from 2010 but left to continue with his acting studies and explore other opportunities leading to Paddy being cast in the role. But his first appearance did cause a bit of confusion for viewers of the ITV soap.

Since his return to screens, and Paddy's arrival in the soap, Corrie fans have seen Max causing problems for people on the famous street. Viewers even complained about the character's 'vile' transformation after he made a film suggesting a conspiracy theory linking Johnny Connor’s and Natasha Blakeman's deaths.
He also threw a swing at David before seeing the error of his ways but things only got worse when Daniel Osbourne was accused of grooming Summer Spellman after a drunken Max confronts his teacher at the school's winter ball. Then, in February, Max suffered a horror fall after Daniel found him trashing his flat.
Luckily for Paddy, there was no drama when he headed out in Manchester on Thursday night (March 31). The soap star joined his soap colleagues at the relaunch of The Alchemist in Spinningfields. The popular cocktail bar had undergone a £550,000 makeover and launched a new cocktail menu which the famous guest got to tuck into at the launch.
