Coronation Street fans were soon hitting social media to see if anyone else heard a moment dubbed 'scary' between Hope Stape and her cousin Joseph Brown.

As Joseph discussed his predicament with Hope, she told him something that viewers believed wouldn't be too surprising if it did happen.
@lightbebe2020 tweeted: "Did hope just say she would literally kill her own sister where is fiz when she says these things...I mean knowing hope she would kill her sister...#Corrie."
