The stars of Coronation Street and Emmerdale aren't too famous to forget their loved ones as they treated them to a night at the theatre. The ITV soap actors were out in Salford on Wednesday night (March 16) as Disney classic Bedknobs and Broomsticks made its way to The Lowry amid its new musical debut.
The show, where three orphaned children are evacuated from wartime London to live with trainee witch Eglantine Price with no idea of the adventures that lie ahead, opened at the venue on Tuesday and is sticking around until Saturday (March 19).
Corrie star Samia Longchambon, who stars in the soap as Maria Windass, was among those heading to watch the magical new production alongside her husband Sylvain, who fans will likely know for being a professional skater on Dancing On Ice.

Taking to Instagram after the show, Eccles-born actress Samia took to Instagram to share the smiling family snap. "Perfect family night out... thanks for the nostalgia #bedknobsandbroomsticks."
Meanwhile, Millie Gibson, who plays Samia's on-screen lodger Kelly Neelan, rocked up to the theatre with her dad. The 17-year-old soap star shared about the father-daughter night on her Instagram page with the pair enjoyed some 'pre-theatre drinks' at the venue.
Millie looked stunning in a vibrant, royal blue dress with a chunky roll neck which she paired with a longline black blazer and buckled
