A grieving mum whose brother died less than two weeks ago has thanked three strangers who ‘made her day’ in Wythenshawe.
Jo Little was in Poundland when she realised her purse had disappeared on Wednesday (December 15).
It was the first time she had managed to do any shopping since the death of her brother John just 10 days earlier.
The 56-year-old left the chocolates she had intended to buy at the tills and left the store.
Just moments later, a woman chased after her and handed her the items – saying she had paid for them herself.
After thanking the kind stranger for her generosity, Jo retraced her steps in a bid to find her lost purse.
