Victoria Beckham shows off extravagant cake for son Romeo's 20th birthday as family celebrates without Brooklyn

Victoria Beckham has shared a glimpse into the family's celebrations as son Romeo turned 20. The promising footballer waved goodbye to his teenage years on Thursday (September 1) and his proud parents couldn't help but publically gush over their son on his big day.

Former Spice Girl Victoria shared a recent selfie of the pair together as well as one she had taken of Romeo and his dad, David. She penned alongside her post: 'Happy Birthday @romeobeckham! You have the kindest heart and the sweetest soul. We love you and are so so proud of the incredible young man you have become.

"You light up a room the moment you walk in, you're hardworking and talented, we couldn't be prouder of you Romeo. Happy Birthday! @davidbeckham," before spamming her Instagram Story with a series of throwback snaps.

Former Manchester United star David also paid his own tribute to Romeo, sharing a video of him as a kid singing and dancing along to his mum on stage with the Spice Girls. The camera then pans to show the chart-topping girlband with Victoria giving her boy a smiley wave.

"Always the little performer with the moves following his mum ( POSH SPICE ) @spicegirls @victoriabeckham," the 48-year-old wrote. "BIRTHDAY BOY @romeobeckham. We love you," he added before the post was quickly flooded with comments.
