Manchester United's pursuit of highly-rated youngster Endrick could be at risk after the Brazilian's latest admission.
Likened to flamboyant Paris Saint-Germain attacker Neymar, he has enjoyed a rich vein of scoring form for Palmeiras, whilst he also featured at the renowned Copinha under-20 tournament, netting five goals in just three appearances in Sao Paolo.
His displays in South America have seen him catch the eye of some of the biggest clubs in Europe with PSG and Chelsea said to be among his suitors
But for United, the task of prising him away from South America will be difficult.
They will have to fend off Real Madrid, a club who the 15-year-old has a "love" for.
The Brazilian told Mario Cortegana via Fabrizio Romano: "I love Real Madrid a lot! I read Real Madrid's history. I'm rooting for them to win another Champions League."
It has been said that Los Blancos have opened talks with the Palmeiras prospect ahead of a move.
Meanwhile, Spurs' efforts to offload Tanguy Ndombele encountered a bump in the road when they tried to bargain with PSG.
The Frenchman eventually departed to his former club Lyon on deadline day, but Daniel Levy was forced to look further afield after negotiations with Mauricio Pochettino's side hit a stumbling block.
Ander Herrera was said to be used as a makeweight for Ndombele's return to Ligue 1, albeit at the Parc des Princes.
However, the Spaniard turned down the chance to move to the capital due to his loyalty to United. Herrera spent five years at Old Trafford and, as such, he confirmed he'd only return to the English top-flight if it was to play for the Reds - as per the Express.
