The family of Olivia Pratt-Korbel have paid a heartbreaking tribute to the nine-year-old after she was shot dead in Liverpool this week.
An unknown gunman blasted the little girl in the chest after barging into her family home in the Dovecot area of the city on Monday (August 22) - leaving a city - and the nation reeling.
The gunman had been targeting two men on Kingsheath Avenue at around 10pm when Olivia's mum opened the door to see what was happening. Before she had time to react, one of the targets, Joseph Nee, forced his way into the home.

A dark-coloured Audi then appeared at the scene and took Nee to hospital, leaving Olivia and her mum at the house. Police arrived and rushed Olivia to Alder Hey hospital, where she later died. Paying tribute to the schoolgirl, her family said Olivia was "adored by everyone," the ECHO reports.

Although her life was short, her personality certainly wasn’t and she lived it to the most she could,
