The owners of a restaurant in Rochdale have been left 'devastated' after a fire broke out in the early hours of this morning.
A blaze broke out at The Waterside on Inghams Lane in Littleborough just before 1.30am, the fire service said. Four fire engines were sent to the scene.
Pictures taken this morning showed damage to the front of the building, with charring on the bricks. All of the windows at the front of the building had been left open.

At least one fire engine remained at the scene today, as well as a police car. The Manchester Evening News understands that no-one was hurt in the fire.
A post on The Waterside Restaurant Garden & Cabin Facebook page said the restaurant will now have to shut 'until further notice'. In full, it read: "Thanks for everyone well wishes over last nights fire. Obviously my mum and Kris are devastated and everyone involved, but thankfully no one was hurt.
"We will be in contact everyone today throughout the course of the day. But truly thank you for everyone’s concern. Much love."
The post added: "We will be closed until further notice. Apologies for all those people that have booked celebrations and occasions over the coming days. Keep an eye out on this page for updates. Can any bookings that are booked in over the next 2-3 weeks please contact us on 07960 316 037 as our phone lines are down."
