Caretaker boss Michael Carrick has admitted that he was not surprised by Jadon Sancho's impressive performance in Manchester United's 2-0 win over Villarreal on Tuesday evening, insisting he has all of the hallmarks to make a real name for himself.
Playing in a right-midfield role, opposed to playing higher up the pitch as an attacking right-sided forward, Sancho grabbed his first goal in United colours, smashing home the second of the night late on.
