While the remaining week of the January transfer window will likely pass by without much incident, the upcoming summer could be one of drastic change for Manchester United.
It says a lot about United's woeful squad management in recent years that the club will surely have a mass exodus on its hands once the season concludes.
United have six players who will be out of contract and are likely to depart Old Trafford alone, as well as several other out-of-favour players who may be looking for a move elsewhere.
So many players could realistically leave in the summer that quite a strong starting XI can be made out of them, with enough even left over for a couple of substitutes.
Here's that XI, and subs:
GK: Dean Henderson - A run of bad luck meant Henderson went from being United's No.1 goalkeeper to playing just 158 minutes of football this season and none in the Premier League.
The 24-year-old wants to leave on loan this month, with Ajax interested, but Ralf Rangnick wants to keep hold of him in case anything should happen to David de Gea.
Tottenham are showing interest in a summer move for Henderson but with a contract until 2025 the ball is in United's court.
RB: Axel Tuanzebe- Despite showing plenty of potential as a youngster, injuries and form have derailed Tuanzebe's progress.
A return to Aston Villa this season didn't go to plan either and he's now spending the rest of the campaign at Napoli, where he is yet to establish himself in the side.
With just a year left on his contract, United may look to move Tuanzebe on in the summer, if not another loan move could be on the cards as a first-team breakthrough looks unlikely.
CB: Phil Jones - Jones impressed in his heroic comeback after over two years sidelined by injury
