Former Manchester United forward Mark Hughes has revealed that he didn't appreciate his sale to Chelsea, admitting it took him years to forgive the legendary Scottish manager.
Hughes made the move to Stamford Bridge in 1995 after two stints at Old Trafford spanning 13 years with stints at Barcelona and Bayern Munich in between.
The Welsh international later reasoned with Sir Alex's decision after the 58-year-old himself had to make similar decisions during his time in management.
Hughes spent three years in West London scoring 25 in 95 league appearances, winning the FA Cup in 1997.
Ferguson made the decision to sell the then-31-year-old to the Londoners as he built, what became, a formidable partnership of Andy Cole and Eric Cantona.
