Supporters were divided about the future of Dean Henderson at Manchester United after his loan move to Nottingham Forest was completed.
The shot-stopper is eager to get more first team action after being limited to just three outings last season. Forest will pay all of his £110,000-a-week wages.
There is no option for Forest to buy Henderson in the deal. While this rules out a return to the City Ground for James Garner due to Premier League loan rules, some fans have suggested it could indicate United’s intentions for the Henderson.

The 25-year-old briefly usurped David de Gea two seasons ago amid the Spaniard’s poor form. However, Henderson failed to cling on to No.1 spot when given the chance and has since been considered a firm second choice behind De Gea.
That hasn’t satisfied Henderson, who pushed for a January exit in vain. He has seen his place in Gareth Southgate’s England squad be given to Aaron Ramsdale due to his lack of game time.
United fans on Twitter said the move to Forest will be good for his international aspirations with the World Cup four months away. Others mooted that it could also be a good stepping stone to ultimately replacing De Gea long-term.
