A man who was killed after being hit by a car on Deansgate has been named as an inquest opened into his death.
Ahmed Abdelwahed was struck by a vehicle on the city centre street on Sunday, November 21.
The 25-year-old tragically died at the scene.

An inquest into Mr Abdelwahed's death opened at Manchester Coroners' Court last Thursday (December 16).
Senior coroner Nigel Meadows confirmed that Mr Abdulwahed was 'a pedestrian involved in a road traffic collision in Deansgate, Manchester'.
His cause of death was given as 'head injuries'.
