Richard Madeley has said he almost revealed his daughter's baby news weeks ago.
The Good Morning Britain host helped son-in-law James Haskell reveal the happy news on Tuesday's show.
The former rugby player was in the ITV studio to chat to Richard and Ranvir Singh about the release of his book into paperback.
Towards the end of the chat, Richard prompted James to share some personal news and replied: "Well Richard, Chloe and I are expecting our first child. We're are going to be having a little girl and you are going to be a grandfather once again!"

A picture of Chloe, while holding up a pink, fluffy sleepsuit, appeared on screen as she stood with her mum Judy, 73, who was holding a set of scan pictures.
A beaming Richard commenting: "That's when she gave us the news, Judy looks so happy doesn't she?
Chloe also took to Instagram to share the news herself with a video montage that featured pictures from ultrasound scans and selfies during her pregnancy so far.
Returning to GMB on Wednesday, Richard wanted to thank viewers for all their messages.
Hosting alongside Charlotte Hawkins, the 63-year-old said: "Before we go on, can I just say a huge thank you to all of you who sent such really lovely messages yesterday, after we announced the impending birth of my… fifth, fourth is it? Fourth grandchild, a daughter.
"James Haskell, Chloe’s husband was here and he announced it. You all flooded in with just lovely comments."
But he went on to reveal how he almost slipped up and shared the news weeks ago.
