Fans and followers of Coronation Street star Jude Riordan were worried this week when the young actor took to Instagram with a snap that showed his left arm in a plaster cast.
But they need not have worried as Jude, who plays Sam Blakeman on the ITV soap, quickly explained it wasn't real and the photo was actually taken on the set of Sky comedy, Brassic, in which he appears as Tyler Croft, the son of Erin played by former Corrie star Michelle Keegan.
The 11-year-old star was all smiles in the image which showed the cast stretching from his fingers all the way down to his elbow. He could be seen lounging in a swivel chair preparing to film his scenes while donning a baseball cap.

"I HAVE NOT BROKEN MY ARM," he penned on Instagram, which is run my his parents, alongside two warning emojis. "Today is BRASSIC DAY series 4.
"This is a BTS shot of Tyler getting his cast fitted. Great fun. Brassic now ready to watch on @skytv and @nowtv."
Fans were relieved to know it was fake and also excited about the return of the hit series. @payntes said: "Phew good news it’s fake." @lydiaalty commented: "For one minute I thought you had broken it. Hope you had fun filming it Jude." @patfreeman1958 wrote: "Brill, that's good news can't wait.What a great actor you are Jude."
@henkelarsson1 penned: "Phew!! I panicked then when I saw the cast! Can't wait for Brassic tonight!" @marks5580 replied: "You're a fabulous little actor bless you." @sarahpeach74 added: "Can't wait I love Brassic."
While many will know Jude from Corrie or Brassic, his rise to fame began actually began in 2017 when he appeared on the Channel 4
