A second man has been arrested after the murder of Rico Burton, cousin to world champion boxer Tyson Fury, in the early hours of this morning (August 21). The 31-year-old was knifed outside a bar in Altrincham shortly after 3am on Sunday morning and tragically died in hospital a short while later, Greater Manchester Police said.
Police earlier confirmed the arrest of a 21-year-old man on suspicion of murder with another male, aged 20, now confirmed to have also been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Mr Burton. Another man, aged 17, received serious injuries in the attack and remains in hospital.

Tributes have been pouring into Rico throughout today, describing him as 'an absolute talent'. Tyson Fury, originally from Wythenshawe, posted a message on his Instagram this morning announcing that his cousin had been stabbed with a plea to 'Stop Knife Crime'. He wrote that his cousin had been 'stabbed in the neck' in an incident, before adding: "This is becoming ridiculous - idiots carry knives. This needs to stop. Asap, UK Government needs to bring higher sentencing for knife crime, it's a pandemic and you don't know how bad it is until it's one of your own!
"Life is very precious and it can be taken away very quick enjoy every moment. RIP RICO BURTON. May the lord god grant you a good place in heaven. see you soon."
