The police watchdog is continuing to investigate after a man's body was found on the M67.
The body was struck by 'several vehicles' including the police vehicle that was responding to the incident, the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) said.
GMP were called to a report of a body near junction two of the motorway, at Denton, at 7am on Saturday (December 18).
The man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
