Gone are the days when Pep Guardiola's stint at a club would merely be a three-year cycle, with the Catalan boss certainly making the Etihad Stadium his home.
Guardiola has helped City hit even greater heights by building on the work of his predecessors, with a plethora of titles, and taking the club to their first-ever Champions League final last season - ultimately losing out to Chelsea.
Further work is on the cards, with City looking to retain their Premier League title and go one step further in Europe by securing their first continental honour.
Building a legacy at the club, and indeed across football, that will last well into the future, Guardiola is already starting to see his impact develop elsewhere.
