Manchester United have started to put plans in place for next season this week by confirming that Paul Pogba, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard will leave the club at the end of this month.
The trio are all out-of-contract on June 30 and United have announced that none of them will have their deals renewed. They have followed Lee Grant, Nemanja Matic and Edinson Cavani in being shown the exit door this summer, as new manager Erik ten Hag plans to oversee radical changes to his squad.
Former interim manager Ralf Rangnick has also left Old Trafford, with the club announcing last Sunday that he will not be moving into his planned consultancy position. However, there has been one new addition to the club this week in the form of Andy O'Boyle, who has come United's new deputy football director.

With changes being made on and off the pitch, United are now bracing themselves for what promises to be one of the busiest summer transfer windows they have faced in recent years. Ten Hag is expected to want to add several new faces to his squad and with the window opening on June 10 excitement levels are beginning to increase.
