A man was taken to hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Middleton.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Rochdale Road at about 7.05pm on Wednesday (March 9).
Eyewitnesses reported seeing a large police presence and an ambulance near to the junction with Hollin Lane.

A male pedestrian was taken to hospital following the incident.
The M.E.N. understands that his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
No arrests have been made, say police.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "Police were called around 7.05pm on Wednesday 9 March 2022 to Rochdale Road, Middleton a report of a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.
"Emergency services attended and a man was taken to hospital.
"No arrests were made."
