Leona Lewis has confirmed the safe arrival of her first child. The singer confirmed the joyous news in the early hours of Wednesday morning (August 3) by sharing the first photo of her bundle of joy on social media.
She and husband Dennis Jauch have welcomed a baby girl to their family. The former X Factor winner announced the news in a touching Instagram post, sharing an adorable snap giving a partial view of the newborn's face as she cradled the baby.
Their baby girl could be seen wearing an adorable light pink onesie, and held on to her hubby's hand. She captioned the post: "And then there were three," before confirming their daughter's name: "Our little Carmel Allegra arrived 22.7.22."

And the congratulatory messages soon came flooding in for Leona, 37, and her dancer husband Dennis, 33. Capital FM DJ and Dancing On Ice winner Sonny Jay said: "Congratulations Leona." Singer Keri Hilson echoed: "Congrats, Leonaaa!!!" Fans were also inundating the star with comments.

Leona announced she and Dennis were set to become parents in March. The Moment Like This singer posed on Instagram in a figure hugging black dress which proudly showed off her growing baby bump. She captioned the image with the words: "Can’t wait to meet you in the Summer," alongside a red heart emoji.
