Jack Grealish has described Pep Guardiola as the "best-ever" manager he has worked under, despite only playing under the Manchester City boss for slightly more than a year.
Grealish arrived in the summer of 2021 as City's marquee signing. He joined for a British record fee of £100million from Aston Villa and played his part in City lifting the Premier League title last term — a trophy win the Englishman very much enjoyed.
Now, Grealish has given an insight into Guardiola's methods and described him as "very intense". The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich coach has led City to four Premier League titles since his arrival at the club in 2016.

Appearing on BT Sport's Around the Block series, Grealish said: "He's so intense, as a manager, his tactics, the way he thinks, the way he watches football and looks at it — he's just the best ever.
"I know people will say I haven't been with other managers and stuff but honestly, he's just a genius when it comes to football, tactics and stuff.
"He's unbelievable but he is intense. Very, very intense."
