There was a dramatic cliffhanger ending to Friday night's Love Island as newcomer Danica Taylor was asked to choose her partner on the ITV reality show. After less than 24 hours in the famous TV villa set in Mallorca Danica had the pick of the boys as they lined up around the fire pit, and one is set to go home after being left single.

Later, after Danica spent some time around the pool getting to know her potential matches, there was a shock as the Islanders were told there would be a re-coupling.
A stunned Danica, 21, was told to choose which boy she wanted to couple up with in the ITV dating contest. The episode ended with Danica being given the first pick despite hardly having time to speak with everyone properly.
