Ben Shephard and Charlotte Hawkins were left apologising to Good Morning Britain viewers after a sweary blunder. The presenters were back at the helm of the ITV news programme on Friday (July 22) with Charlotte again stepping in for Kate Garraway who has been forced to take time off due to her husband's ill health.

As usual, the pair rattled through the latest news headlines - from the ongoing Tory leadership race to Martin Lewis who has warned of potential civil unrest over rising energy costs with an increase in growth of groups of people calling for mass non-payment of bills.

But also among the topics they were discussing was actress Kate Beckinsale who has come under fire for posting a video of herself feeding foxes. The 48-year-old took to Instagram on Tuesday and shared a video of herself feeding a wild baby fox who showed up at her mother's London home in recent days.

While many of the Underworld star's followers were left cooing over the footage, others questioned whether it was a good idea to encourage foxes to live in urban environments.
