He may be a star of one of the biggest show's on telly but Jude Riordan still has to do the same thing as any other 11-year-old, and that's going to school. Fans best know the young actor for playing Sam Blakeman in Coronation Street.
The young actor won the hearts of diehard Corrie fans when he made his Weatherfield debut in 2020 after he discovered that Nick Tilsley was his father. He made his appearance after his mum, Natasha Blakeman, bumped into her former flame at the hospital amid the heartbreaking storyline that saw Leanne Battersby's son, Oliver, die.
Other TV fans, however, may know Jude for appearing in Sky's Brassic as Michelle Keegan's on-screen son Tyler Croft But away from the cobbles, Jude is preparing for his move to secondary school later in the year.

Taking to his Instagram page, which is managed by his doting parents, Jude shared a snap of him in his school uniform with a green backpack. "First day of transition week done," the soap star celebrated. "think I'll go back tomorrow," he added with a crying laughing emoji.
Jude went on to share: "BEST DAY! Loads of new friends and better still my big brother is assisting my form group." But it doesn't mean he got away from his job outside of the school gates. "Most common Q was 'are you Sam from Corrie?'" he revealed. "Got that part out the way. Hope all the other Y6 are having good high school visits."
His on-screen mum Rachel Leskovac, who was killed off as Natash in heartbreaking Corrie scenes last year, was among the first to comment, writing: "Great news Jude."
And his thousands of followers were being just as supportive. @kirstypups
