An iconic Salford building that has been left abandoned for years has been bought by developers for £1 million.
Reform Developers, based in Manchester, secured the former Adelphi Lads Club on Monday after it was put up for auction with a guide price of £900,000.
While there are no plans set in stone as of yet, the decrepit site, which was devastated by a fire in 2010, is expected to be redeveloped for new 'high-quality' housing.

Andy Thompson, head of auctions at SDL Auctions for the north west, said the land had been on the market for three weeks, and managed to sell before the auction date of December 17.
