Greggs is kicking off its summer celebration by bringing its Pumpkin Spice Latte to the menu a little early this year.
The popular food chain will launch its limited coffee item on Thursday, August 25 for £2.20. The latte is made from a mix of freshly ground coffee, pumpkin spice flavour syrup and steamed milk while being topped with cream and spiced sugar.
While it may seem a bit early for the traditional autumn drink to come onto the menu, with the UK just recently experiencing one of its hottest heat waves in decades, some may already be counting down to the "spooky season" and can now celebrate early.

Meanwhile, a Greggs spokesperson said: “Although we’re still enjoying the last of the summer heat, we know how much our customers enjoy a Pumpkin Spice Latte, no matter what the temperature! We hope the early return of this favourite will be a delight to Greggs fans nationwide.”
Some fans of the drink are delighted to see the Pumpkin Spice Lattre come back so early, with one user writing on Facebook: "This is the best day ever". Another user wrote: "Pumpkin spice season is amongst us that only means one thing...autumn," followed by a heart emoji.
