A 'furious' dad has been slapped with an £85 fine thanks to football fans parking outside his house. Danny Wilson was handed the penalty after he was forced to park four doors away from house due to match day traffic.
The dad-of-four is pleading with 'disrespectful' Stoke City fans to find somewhere to park after he was left circling the area around his home four times in a vein attempt to find a space. Danny's BMW was ticketed during the Potters' recent clash against Blackpool after he left it blocking a dropped kerb.
As well as pleading with the fans, the 46-year-old has reached out to Stoke-on-Trent Council to make Glebedale Road, where he has lived for eight years, permit-only parking on matchdays - reports StokeonTrentLive.

“I was furious," he said. "Normally it’s a nice and quiet road. Whenever Stoke are playing at home it’s a nightmare and dangerous. They are parking everywhere. They have got no respect and are parked on the corners everywhere and I’ve never seen a ticket on their cars.
“I went around the block four times and there was nowhere close where I could park. I’ve got a nice BMW and I’m not going to have it damaged because Stoke are playing. I suffer from severe arthritis in my hip and I can’t walk great distances because it does cause a lot of pain. The whole area was rammed.
“Fans know that if they car share it’s cheaper to pay a parking fine than to park at the bet365 Stadium and that’s just messed up.
