A man who was arrested on suspicion of murder after a fatal crash on Deansgate has been released under investigation.
The murder probe was launched after the victim, aged in his 20s, was hit by an Audi A3 just before 3am on Sunday morning (November 21).
He tragically died at the scene.
The Audi fled the scene and was later found in Lancashire.

Two teenagers, aged 15 and 19, were arrested on suspicion of murder but were released pending further enquiries.
A 24-year-old man was then also arrested on suspicion of murder after handing himself in at a police station on Monday night.
Police said today (Thursday) that he has since been released under investigation.
