Police who went to a Salford tower block to make arrests discovered a Breaking Bad style drugs lab. The crystal meth lab was set up inside a flat at Adelphi Court.
Police went to the 15-storey building in North George Street, Blackfriars, owned by the Guinness Trust, just before 11am on Wednesday to conduct arrests. But while at the scene officers found the mechanism for making class A drugs.
One man was arrested. Due to the lab being unstable because of the mixing of chemicals, the fire service attended and later declared the scene safe.

A forensic examination was carried out and the premises made secure by police. In a message to local councillors, GMP said: "Whilst this may alarm local residents the scene is safe and we have someone arrested for the offence and the local neighbourhood team will be conducting high visibility foot patrols in the area for the coming days.
"This has also been a positive result reinforcing that Salford's police officers are continuing in taking positive action in disrupting and preventing the production of and supply of class A drugs here in Salford making the community a safer place."
