Bitcoin price started a steady increase above the $19,500 resistance. BTC is currently (11:00 UTC) up over 5% and there was a move above $20,000. The previous resistance at $19,500 might now act as a strong support.

Similarly, most major altcoins are slowly moving higher. ETH is up 5% and is approaching the $1,400 resistance zone. XRP is attempting a move above the $0.48 resistance. ADA is consolidating above the $0.45 pivot level.

After a clear move above the $19,500 resistance zone, bitcoin price started a steady increase. BTC was able to clear the $19,800 and $20,000 resistance levels. The price settled above the $20,000 level and the 50-hour simple moving average. It is now consolidating near the $20,250 resistance. On the upside, the price is facing resistance near the $20,400 level. The next major resistance is near $20,500, above which the price might climb higher towards the $21,200 level.

On the downside, an initial support is near the $20,100 level. The next major support is near the $19,950 zone, below which the price could test the key support at $19,500.

Ethereum price also gained strength above the $1,350 resistance zone. ETH is up over 5% and trading well above the 50-hour simple moving average. The price is now consolidating near the $1,380 level and aims higher. An immediate resistance is near the $1,410 level. The next major resistance is near the $1,450 level, above which the price could visit the $1,500 resistance.

On the downside, an initial support is near the $1,370 level. The next major support is $1,345, below which price could test $1,300.

Cardano (ADA) was able to climb above the $0.45 resistance zone. It is now consolidating and might aim a move above the $0.465 resistance zone in the near term.
