The UK has recorded 320,000 new Covid cases over the three days of Christmas, including 98,515 in the last 24 hours.
Those figures include the daily numbers that would normally have been published on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

But the statistics for today do not yet include Wales, Northern Ireland or Scotland.
The figure of 98, 515 is the first time the number of positive cases of the virus have fallen below 100,000 since December 21.
Daily infection figures went unpublished on Christmas Day and Boxing Day - a time when the government were still deliberating on whether further restrictions should be implemented.
On Christmas Day (December 25) there were 113,628 new cases
