Stockport’s giant frog statues have raised more than £35,000 for charity at auction.
The public artwork, which was dotted around the town centre over the summer, drew in families over the school holidays.
However, the 'Giant Leap Forward' figures also drew in bids from scores of punters when they went under the hammer last week.

The money raised from the auction is going to St Ann’s Hospice, in Heald Green, which celebrated its golden anniversary in 2021.
