Kerry Katona has shared an update on her health with fans, as well as a new look. The singer, 42, revealed that she had gone for a scan to see whether or not she was at risk of having a heart attack.
Posting a short video on Instagram, the Atomic Kitten star explained more about her decision to get checked. As her mum Sue, 62, 'has not long ago had a heart attack,' Kerry decided to book in to see if she was at high risk of having one herself, she explained in the caption.
She also showed off her freshly-dyed pink hair in the update, prefacing the video by asking fans their thoughts on it. On her health, Kerry explained: "For those of you who don't know, my mum had a heart attack a couple of months ago. My grandad had a heart attack and my nan had a heart attack and I'm worried that I'm at high risk of having a heart attack.

"And I have health anxiety anyway, I'm a nightmare for it. So I have come to Pall Mall medical centre and I'm going to get myself a CT scan." She added: "I wasn't aware that it was available for people... and then I found out it was. I booked myself in because I know there's people out there who suffer with this, not knowing.
"This is really good, it's going to prevent whether I'm at high risk of having a heart attack. I used to smoke a hell of a lot, I don't smoke anymore. I'm really trying my best to be fit and healthy, so you might think I'm crazy but I've booked myself in and I'll let you all know how it goes".
Fans flocked to show their support, with many commenting on Kerry's new hair colour. Instagram user @clarewilks74 posted a string of red heart emojis
