ITV Corrie spoilers with gun drama and character reveals they're dying

Kelly Neelan is reeling when her wayward mum Laura returns to Coronation Street next week, and she's the bearer of some shocking news.

Kelly’s delighted when Stu invites her, Gary and Maria for a complimentary meal at Speed Daal.

As Kelly enjoys Stu’s cooking in Speed Daal, they are all stunned when Laura interrupts and announces that she’s dying.

Laura’s wounded by Kelly’s disbelieving reaction to the news that she has stomach cancer and has only months to live.

And when Gary reminds her that Laura’s still been a terrible mother and Kelly owes her nothing, the troubled teen slips out of the flat.

Later when Kelly feigns illness in order to skip school, and Kirk tells Gary that he saw Kelly out and about late last night, Gary and Maria fear she's back on drugs.

And there's a nightmare for solicitor Adam Barlow and his colleague Imran Habeeb when they're held gunpoint by armed police.

They're shocked to learn their office is being searched for a gun following a tip-off.

The police turn the office upside down as Imran and Sarah blame Adam for antagonising Jeremy Bremner, a disgruntled loser of a court case.

Adam then receives silent phone calls and ignores Imran's advice to report them.

The mystery deepens when Sarah and Gail find a large bouquet of flowers in a vase.

Sarah is thrilled by Adam’s gesture but Adam’s baffled when his wife thanks him for the flowers.

Fishing out the card, they are aghast to read the chilling message: "Next bouquet will be for your funeral.”

Later the tormentor lets themselves into Adam and Sarah’s flat and, after snipping the heads off two red roses, they leave a note reading 'Happy
