Nicky Wheatley has watched her fresh start crumble around her as her sex worker past comes back to haunt her in Coronation Street. The character, played by Kimberly Hart-Simpson, returned to Weatherfield this year as she applied for a job as a teaching assistant at Weatherfield High.
Finding out Daniel Osbourne works there, the pair have re-struck up their friendship - much to the annoyance of Daniel's girlfriend, Daisy Midgley. However, just as things started to look up for Nicky with her new job and being able to find a new home for her and her daughter, it all started to fall back apart again.
It came last week in the ITV soap as Max Turner overheard Daniel and Daisy rowing in the street about his relationship with Nicky, discovering her past work and the fact Daniel paid her to wear his deceased wife's clothes after he struggled as a single dad when Sinead Tinker died in 2019.

Taking what he heard back home, Max did some digging and leaked video and pictures of Nicky as a sex worker, leading to her being hauled into Mrs Crawshaw's office and ultimately losing her job. Then on Monday, things only got worse as viewers saw Nicky find out the Gazette is publishing an article about her.
She was, quite obviously, freaking out about her family discovering what she did for work and at one point was seen upset and deep in thought in Victoria Garden when she was spotted by Daisy being spoken to by Max. After sticking up for her against the teen, Nicky apologised to the barmaid over Daniel accusing her of leaking the pictures and videos.
