As the Omicron variant of Covid-19 spreads, Brits are being asked to "not socialise when we don't particularly need to".
The advice was given by the UK Health Security Agency as the number of confirmed Omicron cases rose to 14 this morning, according to the Mirror.
UKHSA head Dr Jenny Harries, told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme: “Our behaviours in winter and particularly around Christmas we tend to socialise more so I think all of those will need to be taken into account.”
