Andrew Marr has announced he is leaving the BBC after 21 years.
The journalist said he would be joining media company Global, which runs radio stations including LBC, Capital and Radio X, as a writer and presenter from next year.
Marr, 62, who said he was "keen to get his own voice back" with the move, will also write for newspapers.
His Sunday morning talk show 'The Andrew Marr Show' has been running for 16 years.
In a tweet, he wrote: "After 21 years, I have decided to move on from the BBC. l leave behind many happy memories and wonderful colleagues. But from the New Year I am moving to Global to write and present political and cultural shows, and to write for newspapers."
